Saturday, 10:30 a.m. Trista Watson will be graduating from Northwest Oklahoma State University at Ranger Field, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.  All are invited to a celebration following her graduation at the Woods County Fairgrounds on E0160 Road, Alva, Oklahoma.

 

Saturday, Kylie Evans will be graduating with honors from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.  All are invited to a come and go graduation celebration on May 12 from 2-4 p.m. at Brad and Lana’s home.

SATURDAY,  MAY 5, 7:00 p.m.  Southwest Symphonic Orchestra concert at Seward County Community College Theater.  The theme is SPACE.  The orchestra will give a second concert on Sunday, May 6, 2:00 p.m.

 

NEXT SUNDAY, 6:00 p.m.  Church Pizza Night at Rufino’s Restaurant, Liberal.  All invited for pizza, fun, fellowship.

 

THURSDAY, MAY 10, 6:30 p.m. Jake Regier will be graduating from Oklahoma Panhandle State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education.

MENNONITE CENTRAL COMMITTEE is hosting a free webinar on May 9, 2-3 p.m., to help congregations learn how to respond to sexualized violence in the church.  Register at mcc.org/wwso.

 

MENNONITE CENTRAL COMMITTEE’S (SWAP) “Sharing With Appalachian People” home repair program has summer postitions open in West Virginia and Kentucky.  Assignments run from May 30 to August 11.  Applicants should be at least 19 years old or older.  Info at swap.mcc.org or 606-633-5065.
